Erm, entering the 7th year of blogging, from Beyond Infinity (friendster blog) which starts on Apr 28 2005 to Paper Flowers on Oct 28 2008, i definitely feel too old to blog properly.

Thus explains the lazy half-assed, recent attacks of photo posts only when i'm back in kota kemuning...

Here's another one, i'm sorry if there's too many pics of me, i feel rather low on self-esteem lately.

Had this leg breaking experience of standing for 4 hours straight, then played 6 DDR 6 stars songs

Used to play 18 songs in 1 afterschool lepak session, and not leg-breaking yet~

Day 1- Prepare overnight culture, search for usable shaking incubator

Day 2- Inoculate 1% culture into 3 L of medium (100 ml in 32 conical flasks)

Day 3- Nothing to do/ continue doing unfinished stuffs for previous batch

Day 4- Harvest and add 20 ml FeCl3 per litre, rotavap till 100+ ml (at least 7 hours), prepare next batch's medium, wash and autoclave flasks

Day 5- Ammonium precipitation, phenol extraction, column elution

Repeat till you finish 20 L of medium = 7+ weeks

Omedetto!

This is a rotary evaporator, if this breaks down, i'm screwed 99...

Owh, right. So as the title suggested, I forgot to blog about Taiwan, 4 years ago... =.="" Can't remember the detailssss but will caption along the pictures~

Overall: Always choose an Asian country to visit in this order --> Japan --> Taiwan --> China --> Korea. Yes, Japan. Despite the quake. Tsuyoi nihon wo kudasai!!!

Visited Temple of General Chen, very ong temple just across your normal street

Apparently, another thing Taiwan is famous for is its fruits and flora

Visited the Temple of Sun and Moon atop a mountain with the Sun and Moon Lake...

Here I'm pushing this boat made of very ong gold papers, it signifies "smooth journey" or something like "pushing money into your pockets"

Rolling around~ Something fabulous comes up in the midst of the massacre. Losing sleep NOT over studying, but some sick story. Procrastinating cause I can't see the reward. It happens since standard 5.

I was very fascinated to view stomata on the underside of a leaf, directly under a microscope, without any slide preparation. And I succeeded.

On the other hand, I don't think I'm proud to announce what I'd finally like to do with my life (don't come ask me either!). Human beings and our primitive brains... sigh. Self-degrading stuffs are not bloggable.

Badminton's becoming a trend in my clique, despite the commencement of Week Seven Massacre (will last for 1 month). Waiting for my awesome stuffs to arrive after that!

Is trying very hard to deal with what's gonna happen in the near future. Is having some major psychological crisis, building up bit by bit. Is not gonna have any fun trips this year. Has no mood to study plant physio right now. Form 6 biology is so much more informative and fun...

Windows Explorer severe crash/ freeze

Stupid new external hard disk crashes my explorer, now it will auto restart and refresh then shut down all my explorer windows EVERY 10 SECONDS.

1) Chrome is safe. Cmd is safe. Task manager is safe. Avira scan blocked o__O

2) Run chkdsk, no problem.

3) Run sfc/scan, no problem

4) Disable werfault.exe, stopped annoying pop-up message, still shuts down and refreshes everything else

5) Disable startup programs and check, waiting to reboot

6) Lose sleep

7) Hack brother and dad's computer to allow file transfer. Need 2 fucking hours. Terminate

8) Disable all processes on task manager then restart explorer.exe. Fail

9) End explorer.exe in task manager then restart in cmd. Realised i'm damn stupid.

10) Run anti-spyware, still running. 534 threats detected as current, 28 in registry. All adwares. If i ever have to manually remove them from the registry i will die. FML

11) Uninstall then reinstall TurboPC shit that started it all. Fail.

12) Lose sleep for 2 days

13) Backed up from F:\ to G:\. Extract half way then fail.

14) 3 hard disks infected because i checked them one by one.

15) Very desperate frustrated and angry with a buffalo and vista, thinking about reformat :(((

16) Can see the files there right under my eyes as they disappear EVERY 5 SECONDS. Virus can upgrade also ar??

17) Desperately access hard disk files via IE tab for Chrome, type dir like crazy. Explorer still refreshes at the background

18) Move files everywhere like crazy while i can. Sleep on it.

UPDATE: Computer is saved! All thanks to me and me alone! No more explorer fail, just scan all hardisks with anti-spyware. Just in time for COMIC FIESTA 2010!!!^^~

Artificial Intelligence A.I.

The story somewhat resembles whatever similar plot they have out there, the only thing it lacks is the details and real world possibilities that sci-fi readers seek. The display of the concept behind the story is kinda vague, there's no connection between how things work. It's a story without solid foundation or detailed research on the subject. Again, it has only 2 books so this may be the reason why there's not much things explained.

The good thing is there's HUGE potential for it to advance and become one of the best manga. :) It's like it's only Dandelion: Prologue~

Blessed blessed weekend :))) had a row... although i seem crazy and worked up but you should know that i am really not hating anything, it's just pure rantings whenever i talked about them lol... do you not know that i might be the most love-life girl you've ever known haha~ my cousins all belong to this category "我是hui min/ mun li/ aster/ mun yee/ vincent, 我love life" XDDD not to mention they have a crazier mum than mine but we love our parents, in one way or the other^^ (especially our ever generous dads!)

However during the weekdays, i am miserable :((( no worries i'm getting used to it! china assembly line worker is getting more pro and pro (and immune...) each day! Lucky my weekend is compensating woohoo!!!

First i thought of this idea among all the miserable assemblings of "mini torchlights": having a KL trip via LRT. Can't wait to feel excited so i made it this saturday with ben :)))

You'll start to make "mini green neon torchlights" and "bio-weaponed bullets" when you make too many of this shit you use in the lab... MUST APPRECIATE!!! It's very difficult to make ok? And i've done thousandsss of them, remember it's 1000 per day for a daily minimum target... So, don't waste your cuvettes/ collection tubes/ filter tubes/ column tubes because i might be the one making them!!! T__T (also, the 10x ViBuffer S sticker labels start to look like it's some fancy 'ViButterfly Super' you know, like Sailormoon S/ SS/ SSS...)

What else i did? Stick labels onto tubes, make boxes for the products, package them, aliquot 1ml of liquid into 1000 tubes and cut/ fold/ staple paper manuals and instruction sheets. Yes my company sells molecular bio stuffs, but the problem is it's a small company, another problem is i'm in the packaging department. So to my UTAR friends doing QC, you 're damn lucky you're learning more than me. But it's weird that i'm happy hahahahaha! (sounds damn sarcastic here...)

Graffiti people are the best! I mean they are actually the intellects of the suburbs, still much awesome than some no-brainers (think politicians and sponges) haha~ I remember there was a graffiti expo/ competition in Times Square am i right?

So back to the story. The KL trip turned into the Merdeka Sales i missed earlier^^ Times Square + Sg Wang + Petaling Street = MUAHAHAHAHA!!! Kononnya KL trip, padahal i've never been to KL Tower in my life. We (i think it's only me...) had fun shopping at the cheapest cheapest deal you can find, while ben got comic bookssss (RM1 for 1!!!) and some other cool stuffs too^^

On the other hand, you'll see ang mohs feeling sad and disappointed because most of the ladies clothes they see is the asian free size, which means "no way i can fit into this". Also they're being conned at RM69 for a noob-looking cap :( that's the reason you don't see price tags at Petaling Street.
